This Privacy Policy describes how SwiftPrep ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards information in connection with our educational application and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy and agree to the practices described herein.
Account information. When you register for or use the Service, we collect identifiers and profile information you provide, including your name, email address, account identifiers, grade level, learning preferences, areas of interest, and related profile details.
Content you provide. We collect study materials and other content you create, upload, or otherwise submit through the Service, including subjects, syllabi and documents, assignments, notes, quizzes, flashcards, presentations, reports, messages submitted to interactive features, and feedback or support correspondence. Where you choose to upload files or images, we process only the materials you elect to submit.
Connected accounts. Where you elect to link a third-party school or productivity account to the Service, we collect such account information as is necessary to provide the requested integration, including profile information, course and assignment information, and authentication tokens, which are stored in encrypted form and used solely to operate the integration at your direction. You may disconnect such integrations at any time.
Information collected automatically. When you use the Service, we and our service providers automatically collect certain technical and usage information, including device and network identifiers (such as IP address and user-agent data), application interactions, feature usage, search queries submitted within the Service, and diagnostic, crash, and performance data. Avatars displayed in the Service are generated from information you provide rather than from photographs you upload.
Information we do not collect. We do not collect precise geolocation data, contact lists, calendar contents, call or message logs, biometric data, health data, or payment card or financial account information. The Service offers no in-app payment functionality, and any virtual balances maintained within the Service have no monetary value and are not redeemable for cash or merchandise.
We use the information described above solely for the following purposes:
We do not sell personal information, nor do we use personal information for third-party advertising or marketing purposes.
We disclose information only in the following limited circumstances:
We implement commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information under our control, including encryption of data in transit and at rest, access controls, authentication mechanisms, and secure storage practices. Notwithstanding the foregoing, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is entirely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We retain information for so long as your account remains active or as otherwise necessary to provide the Service and fulfill the purposes described in this Policy. You may delete your account and all associated data at any time through the Service (sign in first if necessary):
Upon completion, your profile, study materials, credentials, integrations, and login records will be permanently deleted, your session will be terminated, and locally cached data will be cleared. This action is irreversible.
Alternatively, you may submit a deletion request, or request a copy of your information, by contacting us at the address set forth below. We will delete personal information from our active systems within thirty (30) days of receiving a verifiable request, subject to retention in backup systems for a limited period and to any retention required by applicable law. Aggregated or anonymized data that does not identify you may be retained for analytical purposes.
Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information; to request restriction of or object to certain processing; to request portability of your information; and to withdraw any consent previously granted, without affecting the lawfulness of processing conducted prior to withdrawal. Certain of these rights (including profile correction and account deletion) may be exercised directly through the Service. To exercise any other rights, please contact us as described below.
The Service is designed for learners of all grade levels, including primary and secondary students, and we are committed to complying with the Google Play Families Policy. We display no third-party advertising, and personalization is limited exclusively to educational content. Parents and legal guardians may review, correct, or request deletion of a child's information at any time through the controls described in Section 5 or by contacting us as described below.
We may revise this Policy from time to time. Any revisions will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date and will take effect upon posting. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically. Your continued use of the Service following the posting of revisions constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
